COVID-19 Response: Ultra-Cold Solutions and Vaccine Distribution in Mauritania

March 16, 2022

Michael and John O’Sullivan deployed to Nouakchott, Mauritania to provide in country training to UNICEF and the MOHs distribution teams. This deployment was challenging because there were an even divide of Arabic & French Speaking attendees, meaning that everything had to be translated twice. In addition to the training, Michael and John had to help the Mauritania MOH & UNICEF develop their own SOP (Standard Operation Procedure) documents in both languages. Shortly after this training, Red Lightning financed and created an Arabic version of the Ultra Cold Training website, which brought the total up to 3 languages.
